As the Presenting Sponsor of the Kentucky Derby, Woodford Reserve has commissioned Kentucky-rooted, Chicago-based artist Anna Murphy to create this year's label: "Dress to Impress, 152." Her signature blue-and-white porcelain-inspired style transforms Derby fashion, tradition, and celebration into a work of art you'll want to display long after the race is over.

The artwork pays tribute to Derby fashion and ritual — bold style, timeless elegance, and the iconic red roses of the Winner's Circle. Murphy also weaves in speedwell, historically gifted to travelers for protection, deepening the story behind every sip.

About the Artist:
Anna Murphy was born in England, grew up in Kentucky, and earned her BFA in Painting from the University of Louisville. She bridges fine art and street art — bringing the same hand, detail, and soul to gallery canvases and public murals across Chicago. Her Derby 152 label is her most collectible work yet.

About the artist:

Originally from England, Anna Murphy moved to Kentucky at age 12 and earned a BFA in Painting from the University of Louisville in 2011. She bridges fine art and street art, translating the intricate detail of her traditional oil-painting practice into large-scale public murals. Murphy now resides in Chicago and showcases her work in galleries as well as public spaces across Chicago and beyond
